VCE Algorithmics at Avila

The Technologies Curriculum Leader Ziad Baroudi was recently invited to present at the annual conference of Digitial Learning and Teaching Victoria. Mr Baroudi took three students with him to address the audience of teachers considering introducing the topic in their own schools.

They spoke about the introduction of the VCE Algorithmics into the curriculum at Avila and the challenges they faced. The most valuable part of the presentation came during the Q & A session when most of the questions were directed to the students. When asked for the best advice to give to other students one Avila girl replied, “Never give up, keep trying. The problems you get are hard but you get a great feeling when you solve them.”
