Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher – Congratulations Kelly Bunning

Congratulations to Avila College teacher Kelly Bunning who has been awarded a Certification of Highly Accomplished and Lead Teacher. One of only twelve teachers to receive this certification in Victoria, Kelly has been inspirational in her Psychology curriculum and we’re extremely privileged to have her on staff.

The Certification of Highly Accomplished and Lead Teachers involves considered reflection on the teacher’s individual classroom practice and their impact and influence on the practice of colleagues and student outcomes. Highly Accomplished teachers are recognised as highly effective, skilled classroom practitioners and routinely work independently and collaboratively to improve their own practice and the practice of colleagues. Lead Teachers have demonstrated consistent and innovative teaching practice over time. Inside and outside the school they initiate and lead activities that focus on improving educational opportunities for all students.
