Being part of a community, always doing different things, and playing a part in students’ journeys as they grow and evolve as people… and trying to nurture a love for learning about the complexity and magic of the world. Also, seeing students develop and utilise a wide range of skills over their time at Avila.

Short run in the morning. Pastoral Hat on for homeroom, checking in and following up. Teach subjects. Prepare for classes. Spend preparation period playing with Robots, testing out a new experiment, proving a weird Maths theorem or speculating on potential activities to use. Go home. Try and squeeze in a tennis match or some other down time.
