Golden Jubilee Gala Dinner

The Avila College community gathered together to celebrate the Golden Jubilee at the Gala Dinner held at the Riversdale Golf Club on Friday 7 August. The Principal Louise Gunther and the Chair of the Board Sally-Anne Petrie were joined by parents, staff and Alumnae to celebrate the last 50 years of the college.

The President of the Parents and Friends Association Loretta Stapleton welcomed guests and Ms Gunther thanked everyone for coming along and for the part they had played in the rich history of the college. Past students from many different eras enjoyed reconnecting and sharing their stories and memories of their time at Avila. The three course dinner was delicious and everyone enjoyed the live entertainment provided by DJ Phil Pitt. It was a wonderful evening and it celebrated the occasion of the Golden Jubilee in fine style.
