Vinnies Winter Sleepout

With cardboard mattresses and a cup of soup, Avila College students and staff ‘slept rough’ on a cold Friday night to build awareness and raise funds for Vinnies Australia.

As Winter hits hard we are reminded that there are many in our community who do not have warm beds or homes to go to. In the spirit of our 2022 theme, let’s work together to “Create” a world where the most vulnerable are restored some dignity – to be seen, respected and cared for.

Thank you to our parent and staff  volunteers who made soup in the Food Technology kitchens and helped serve the evening meal.
